Browsing a company type directory
This page is the directory for one company type: every published company on Wholesale Managers that does this particular job in the trade. The count under the title is the true size of the directory. A company can hold more than one type - a manufacturer that also supplies in bulk appears in both the Manufacturers and the Wholesalers directories - so the same business can legitimately show up in several of these lists.
Searching and filtering
Three controls narrow the list, and they combine:
- Search by company name - partial names work, so "bosch" finds "Robert Bosch GmbH".
- Category - the product categories a company deals in (electronics, toys, building materials and so on).
- Country - where the company is based, which is not necessarily where it ships from or to.
The dropdowns only offer values that actually exist in this directory, so you never pick a filter that returns nothing. Each dropdown is calculated ignoring its own current selection, which means you can always change your mind about a country or a category without clearing everything first. Use Clear filters to start again. Your filters live in the page address, so a filtered view can be bookmarked or sent to a colleague.
The results
Companies are listed alphabetically, 48 per page. Each row shows the logo, the company name, all of its types, its country, and the product categories it deals in. Click a row to open the full company profile with contact details, brands, people, branches and any stock it has listed.
Directories that need Pro
The categories where wholesale supply actually happens - wholesalers and distributors, dropshippers, warehouse clubs, trade agents and brokers - are part of the Pro membership. On those pages you still see how many companies the directory holds, but the names are behind an upgrade panel. Signing up is free and gets you an account straight away; Pro adds the wholesale directories and wholesale pricing across the catalogue. The open directories - manufacturers, retailers, online retailers, logistics, service providers and the rest - need no membership at all.
What the types mean
- They make the goods - Manufacturers, usually the brand owners.
- They supply in bulk - Wholesalers and distributors, warehouse clubs, trade agents and brokers, and dropshippers who ship single orders directly to your customers.
- They sell to end customers - Retailers, online retailers and marketplaces.
- They support the trade - Logistics (freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, warehousing, sourcing agents), service providers, financing organizations, trade associations, government agencies and industry publishers.
The list of types is maintained by our team, so it grows as the directory does. /companies/ shows all of them side by side with their sizes.
Looking across types
If you do not know which type you need, search across all of them instead:
- /advanced-search/ - name, country and type in one search.
- /countries/ - start from a country and see its companies, brands, products and people.
- The search bar in the header covers products, companies and brands at once.
Found the supplier you want?
Open their profile and use the pricing request box in the sidebar to ask for their wholesale prices. Requests are sent company to company, so you need a Pro membership and a confirmed employer before you can send one.
Your own company
If your company belongs in this directory but is not here, add it at /company/register/. If it is already listed, open its profile and claim it so you can keep its details, types and categories accurate yourself. Both are free.
Something in the wrong place?
Types came largely from public sources and can be out of date. If a company is filed under the wrong type, use the Report button on its profile or contact us, and we will correct it.
