Big Heart Pet

Big Heart Pet, Inc. is a US pet food company and the owner of Pup-Peroni, a brand of soft and chewy dog treats sold in beef, bacon and steak flavours. It descends from the pet food business of Del Monte Foods, organised as Big Heart Pet Brands in 2014, whose portfolio included Milk-Bone, Meow Mix, Kibbles 'n Bits and Natural Balance. The J.M. Smucker Company announced the acquisition of Big Heart Pet Brands for 5.8 billion US dollars in February 2015, and the business is now part of Smucker's pet food operations.
