Carlsberg Group is a Danish brewer headquartered in Copenhagen, founded in 1847 by J.C. Jacobsen. Its portfolio of more than 140 brands, including Carlsberg, Tuborg, Kronenbourg 1664, Grimbergen, Somersby and Holsten, is sold in over 150 markets. The Carlsberg Foundation has been the majority owner since Jacobsen's death in 1887, and the group's shares trade on Nasdaq Copenhagen. Britvic and its soft drinks brands, such as Robinsons, Tango and J2O, joined the group following a deal approved in 2024, and the group employs more than 37,000 people.
