Dr. Martens plc

Dr. Martens plc is a UK footwear company with its global head office in Camden Town, London, and a listing on the London Stock Exchange (DOCS) since January 2021. The boots trace to a 1947 design by Klaus Maertens in Germany, and the British firm R. Griggs Group acquired the manufacturing rights in 1959, producing the first Dr. Martens 1460 boot in Wollaston, England on 1 April 1960. The company sells boots, shoes, sandals and bags in more than 60 countries, reporting across EMEA, the Americas and APAC. Most production is in Asia, with a smaller range made at its Wollaston factory.
