Lazada Singapore is the Singapore site of Lazada Group, an e-commerce company headquartered in Singapore and operating in Southeast Asia. Lazada was founded in March 2012 by Maximilian Bittner with backing from Rocket Internet, and Alibaba Group acquired a controlling stake in 2016. The marketplace sells electronics, home, health and beauty, fashion and grocery products, with official LazMall stores and the RedMart grocery service, and has country sites in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
