Magasin du Nord is a Danish chain of department stores traced back to 1868 when Theodor Wessel and Emil Vett opened a draper's shop in Aarhus. It has seven department stores, with the flagship on Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen, and sells online at magasin.dk. The assortment covers women's, men's and children's fashion, shoes, beauty, home, toys and electronics from several hundred brands, including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Dyson and Lego. Since 2021 the company is a subsidiary of the German retailer Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf, and it has been a member of the International Association of Department Stores since 1928.
