MediaMarkt is a German consumer electronics retailer founded in 1979, when its first store opened in Munich. It sells electronics, household appliances, phones, computers and gaming products, with brands such as Apple, Samsung, Huawei, AEG and NVIDIA, in more than 250 stores in Germany and through an online shop operated by MMS E-Commerce GmbH in Ingolstadt. The chain also operates in other European countries and, together with the Saturn chain, forms the MediaMarktSaturn group, which is owned by Ceconomy.
