Optic 2000 is a French optician network organised as a cooperative and based in Clamart. The Optic 2000 banner was set up in 1969 by the GADOL opticians' purchasing group, which dates from 1962. The network has nearly 1,200 stores in France selling eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses, also online, with brands such as Ray-Ban, Oakley, Gucci, Prada and Versace. The group also owns the Lissac optician chain and the Audio 2000 hearing-aid chain.
