R. STAHL AG is a German company based in Waldenburg, Württemberg, that supplies electrical and electronic products and systems for explosion protection in hazardous areas. Its portfolio covers switching and distribution, installation, operation and monitoring, lighting, signalling and alarming, and automation, for customers in oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and food. Its shares are listed on the Regulated Market (Prime Standard) of Deutsche Börse. In 2013 it reported revenue of EUR 304.4 million and more than 1,850 employees.
