Schuh is a footwear retailer based in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland, selling men's, women's and kids' shoes in stores and online at schuh.co.uk. The first store opened in Edinburgh on 2 November 1981, founded by Sandy Alexander. The company was acquired by Goldberg in 1987, regained independence through a management buyout in 1990, and is now part of the US footwear group Genesco. In August 2026 it operated 109 stores in the UK and Ireland, stocking more than 80 brands, including Converse, Vans, UGG, Nike and adidas, alongside its own label.
