Shokz, formerly AfterShokz, is a headphone brand best known for open-ear and bone conduction headphones. It is owned by the Chinese acoustic technology company Shenzhen Voxtech, with most production in Shenzhen and a North American headquarters in Austin, Texas since 2020. The AfterShokz brand entered the consumer market in 2011, released its first wireless bone conduction model, the Bluez, in 2012 and was renamed Shokz in 2021. Current lines include OpenRun sports headphones, OpenSwim, OpenFit earbuds and OpenComm headsets, sold through channels in more than 60 countries.
