Skechers U.S.A., Inc. is an American footwear and apparel company headquartered in Manhattan Beach, California. Robert Greenberg, who had earlier founded LA Gear, started it in 1992 with men's street shoes and utility-style boots. It then expanded to casual and athletic styles for women and children and went public in 1999. Its casual, walking and comfort lines include Go Walk, D'Lites and Arch Fit.
