Tamasu Co., Ltd. is a Japanese sporting goods company that makes table tennis equipment under the Butterfly brand. It was founded on 19 December 1950, growing out of a sports goods shop that the Tamasu family opened in Yanai, Yamaguchi Prefecture, in 1946, with a Tokyo office from 1949. Butterfly products include rubbers, blades, complete rackets and table tennis shoes, with the Tenergy and Dignics rubber series among its ranges. The company has overseas subsidiaries in Germany (Tamasu Butterfly Europe, from 1973), China, Korea and Thailand.
