Tippmann Sports, LLC is a US manufacturer of paintball markers and accessories, with an airsoft division marketed as Tippmann Tactical. The business grew out of a family company in Fort Wayne, Indiana, that first made half-scale replica machine guns and entered the paintball market in 1986. Summit Partners took a majority stake in 2004, and G.I. Sportz announced its acquisition of the company in 2013. Tippmann is now one of the brands marketed by Kore Outdoor, alongside Empire, JT, Spyder and VForce.
