Toys"R"Us is an American toy, clothing and baby product retailer founded in 1948 by Charles Lazarus in Washington, D.C., first as Children's Supermart and under the Toys "R" Us name from 1957. After the chain closed its remaining US stores in 2018 following bankruptcy, the brand continued online at toysrus.com and in a small number of stores, including branded sections inside Macy's. It has been owned by WHP Global since 2021. The site carries toy brands such as Barbie, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, LEGO, Nerf, Play-Doh and VTech.
