Transform SR Brands LLC (Transformco)

Transformco (Transform SR Brands, LLC) is a US retail and brand-holding company formed on 11 February 2019 to acquire the surviving assets of Sears Holdings, which had filed for bankruptcy in October 2018. It is privately owned by ESL Investments, the investment firm of Eddie Lampert, who is its chairman and CEO. The company operates the Kmart and Sears retail chains, which have shrunk to a small number of stores since the acquisition, and holds consumer brands including Kenmore and Shop Your Way as well as Sears Home Services. It has been based in the Hoffman Estates, Illinois, area and has been shifting toward real estate operations.
