Weber, Inc. is a US maker of charcoal, gas and electric grills and grilling accessories, headquartered in Palatine, Illinois, near Chicago. The company was incorporated in 1893 as Weber Bros. Metal Works, and George Stephen Sr. developed its round charcoal kettle grill in 1951. Weber listed on the NYSE in 2021 and was taken private by BDT Capital Partners in 2023. It also acquired the June smart oven company in 2021.
