Wilson Sporting Goods is a US sporting goods manufacturer headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1913 as the Ashland Manufacturing Company and makes balls, rackets, bats, apparel and equipment for baseball, basketball, American football, tennis, golf, volleyball and other sports. Wilson has supplied the NFL game ball since 1941 and returned as the NBA and WNBA game ball supplier in 2021. It has been part of Amer Sports since 1989 and employs about 1,600 people.
