Bundle pricing
Bundle pricing offers several products together for a combined price. It can encourage customers to buy complementary items, and sellers should compare the bundle's revenue and costs with selling its components separately.
Bundles can include complementary products, multiple units or a main item with accessories. The bundle may be available alongside its separate components or offered only as a set. Stock management must account for the components consumed, particularly if they can also sell individually; otherwise a bundle may remain listed after one required item runs out.
For example, a camera, memory card and case may sell together for £280 instead of £300 separately. The offer can raise average order value, but contribution margin depends on the combined costs and discount. A higher basket value alone does not prove that the bundle is more profitable.
