Internal Transaction Number (ITN) is the confirmation number that the exporters receive after their Electronic Export Information (EEI) has been accepted in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). The ITN is included in the shipping documents, as a confirmation to any government agent inspecting the cargo during export shipment.
