Line sheet

A line sheet is a concise sales document presenting a supplier's product range to trade buyers. It usually combines product images or references with wholesale prices, variants and ordering information, making it easier to select items for an order.

Line sheets are widely used where a buyer needs to review a collection efficiently, such as clothing, accessories or homewares. Alongside product codes and images, they may show colours, sizes, case packs, delivery windows and minimum order requirements. They are designed for purchasing decisions rather than extended consumer-facing product descriptions.

For example, a retailer reviewing a seasonal collection can use the line sheet to select styles and record quantities against their codes. The sheet may state a minimum order value for the collection. Compared with a product catalogue, a line sheet is usually more concise and more closely focused on placing trade orders.
