CMC Magnetics Corporation is a Taiwanese manufacturer of recordable optical discs, headquartered in Taipei and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (2323). Founded in 1978, it produces CD-R, DVD-R and related media at factories in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and its discs have also been supplied to other companies for sale under their own labels. It bought the optical disc brand and intellectual property of Taiyo Yuden in 2015 and acquired the Verbatim data storage brand from Mitsubishi Chemical in 2019.
