Pirelli & C. S.p.A. is an Italian tyre manufacturer headquartered in Milan, producing tyres for cars, motorcycles and bicycles. It was founded in Milan in 1872 by Giovanni Battista Pirelli, starting with rubber products before concentrating on tyres and cables, and it has been a pure tyre company since 2010. The group is listed on the Borsa Italiana, runs manufacturing sites in 13 countries and has commercial operations in more than 160. Pirelli has been the sole Formula One tyre supplier since 2011.
